    unibody rot

so im having a problem with my eta. the pass side unibody frame rail where the control arm bushing mounts to the body is distorting and begining to collapse. i feel i already know the answer to this, but is there any way of saving it, or should i start looking for a new car thats less riddled with cancer.

Probably the latter, and being that you are in florida you shouldn't have to hard of a time.

i actually have my eye on a vert shell thats kinda ragged out, and might be lacking powertrain. if i can get it for a couple hundred, ill get it and start swapping good parts, sanding and spray bombing temporarily, and making it drivable. cuase right now ive taken up my backup vehicle, a 1990 ford conversion van. which is nice and comfy, but not the type of ride i want to be seen in.

hahahahahah, ya gotta get out of that thing asap. A rotted frame rail just sounds like bad news to me. For the price of these cars I think it'd just be wise to get a new one.

oddly enought his car was bought in florida, right after it spent its entire life being towed behind a salt truck in alaska or something. it looks great untill you look underneath it. then everything is made of rust.
