    Brake pad interchangeability

    I've got a set of Ferrodo brake pads here that are listed as compatible with these models:

    316 (E21)
    318i, Cabriolet 9/83-85
    320i 82-85
    323i 3/83-7/85

    Will these work on an 89 325i? I'm assuming the answer is no, but I'd like to be surprised.

      i'm assuming no
      but for the 10 minutes it takes to change pads may aswell try it out
      you may be surprized,

          No, it will not work. Those calipers and brake pads are used with non-ventilated rotors.
