Has anyone NOT used a press to push them in? I'm thinking of just buying the urethane bushings and hammering them into the lollipops myself. Anyone? I've searched high and low and havent found an answer.
I've never used a press to get them in. On occasion when they're a bit toight I use a rubber mallet to tap them on, once I think I used a shot filled plastic hammer. I tend to clean up the control arm snub and also use antiseize.
D'oh, sorry, I read this too quickly. Yes, I meant onto the arms which is not what you meant.
In that case....well, still no, not always. There have been times when I needed to press them in but then I think most of the time I lube them with antiseize and tap them in. Again, I generally clean the inside of the bracket just to have a clean surface to start with. I use emery cloth for this.

ha oh ya I forgot about that. I read that one guy placed it under his car with something underneath it then he lowered his car pressing it in like a 2 ton press kind of.

I've done that with ball joints. :) Thanks for the halp gaiz!
if you have a large vise and a large 7/8 or larger combination wrench, you can press them in like I did with my stock m3 bushing into the lollipops. line up the dots and watch the start for any unevenness and work that side till even, then use wrench for leverage and go till flush.
