    Break wear problem.

Ok, about two weeks ago i purchases new pads and rotors. And ever since my right outer pad has been only touching on the outer surface of the rotor.
I've tried tighting everything, the caliper is solid. Are there internals that go bad and create this problem?

    Right side.

The left side doesnt do it as much but that same issue is present.
    Left Side.

    Thanks for you time.

Did you clean the sliders up good and put some anti-seize or brake grease on them?

Also when you pushed the piston in, was it really hard to go in? Like it could be seized?

The piston is not siezed and moves freely.
And cleaning the sliders didn't help either.

Who turned your rotors? Is it possible that their machine's tool is not linear or that maybe the rotor loosened up during the cutting? If they didn't have the rotor properly centered and tight it would have a tendency to cut more material near the center and less out at the edge. Have you held the pads inside the caliper and measured the distance between them to see if they're parallel to each other? If they're parallel then your rotor was turned improperly, if not, recheck/replace the caliper. Just some thoughts...

I assume you greased them after you cleaned the sliders. I use a thin film of teflon grease. You could try the bronze bushing replacements for the sliders and see if it helps. I believe that are a bavauto or BMP thing.

Sorry...I just reread your original post where it says you bought new rotors. That doesn't necessarily rule them out but it does make them less suspect. I'd definitely check the pads for parallel when they're mounted in the caliper. It sounds like, over time, the seating surfaces in the caliper may have worn irregularly.

I would say your rubber guides are worn. Get the bronz ones and see if it helps.

Where does one get those rings?

Bavarian auto or BMP. I don't remember exactly and they should only be about $75.
