    Front Brake pads

Took apart my brakes to fix a rattle up front and the brake pads aren't fitting right.

How do I get these things to just sit in the caliper and fit? When I lifted the caliper up, they straight fell out. Is there some trick to aligning them and getting them to fit?

    Thanks. :D

no trick. just depress the caliper piston and they should sit right in. put the pads in the carrier and then put the caliper on the disc. if you hold the pads in while you slide it halfway on the disc it should work fine. if it doesn't you may have the wrong pads

Whats weird is these pads where in there already but it is just refusing to fit properly. They are just always ready to fall out. I'll try again when I get home from work. :/

Wow. Texting makes me lazy with spelling, grammar, etc. :-(

Pads are on but the brakes don't feel right.

So when I build pressure, the rotor spins pretty freely. Would that be air in the lines? Any other possibilities?

My friend's shitty zip tie undid itself when I attached the rotor to the control arm and dangled for a second by the line. It was literally a second. Would that cause an issue?

          Thanks!
