    91 325i rear arms fit in 84 318i ?

Can you use 91 325i coupe rear arms and brakes in a 84 318i coupe. Will it fit? I know the question is why would i ,but i need to know. LOL. I need to know if the control arms are the same design at the subframe mounting and width and length.
    Thanks in advance.

According to realoem, the design changed in 9/1985. The diameters are different.

Good news is that the rear sub-frame is the same part number so I think the trailing arms will bolt up to the sub-frame just fine. I think that is were you were going with this right?

        Cheers,
