    High torque rating brakes? huh?

I am browsing for new brake pads and on Turner's site they list the race brake pads as having a "high torque rating" or "very high torque rating". Don't worry, I am going to be getting some basic street pads (not being able to stop on cold rotors sucks) but I have never heard of this before, what does it mean?

It's one of the features for a set of race brake pads. Probably won't matter for your use.

to me it is a terrible description of the coefficient of friction of the pad.
