    Brake Duct Question

I have the harrison motorsports square to round adapter to connect to the existing front 'is' ducts. However, I already have the factory ducts going from the front duct to the fenderwell, and as some of you know that duct ends in the wheel well (providing how much cooling I have no idea...). Anyhow, the square to round adapter also appears to bolt right up to that too, so my question is- why bother removing the plastic factory ducts and installing the 3" hose from the air dam to the fender well, only to have to either connect it via a flange (which I actually did buy and now am questioning) or cut the fender well (which I don't have to because of said flange) instead of just hooking up the 3" hose to the termination of the factory duct in the fenderwell using the square to round adapter?

The reason they sell the flange is twofold- one, you don't have to cut up your fenderwell, and two- you can really easily disconnect the hose when not on the track.

    Any thoughts from the braintrust?

What year E30? If an early car you need to install ducts in the valence and then pipe the airflow to the rotors. If a late model car (88 & later) bolt square to round adapters on the existing scoops and pipe that to the rotors.
The car makes it possible, but the driver makes it happen.

Late model- it has a duct that runs from the front scoop to the fenderwell- that is the part that I am debating whether or not to replace
