Use OE control arms on a track car.
The car makes it possible, but the driver makes it happen.

Are the ones from BavAuto inferior for some reason? They're Febi's. The car I just purchases has them, and they're replacing one under warranty due to a dryrotted and cracked balljoint boot already.

Febi (or other non-OEM) control arms are okay on a street car, though they might not last as long. But best to not take any chances on a track car.

Plus the bav auto ones snap like twigs when put under stress. That's part of how I totaled the car.

I'm curious to know how you came to have snapped the control arm?

                  You should've bought lemforder
ones at Bavauto since they offer free shipping for any orders more than $150.

Yeah I was going to, but at the time I couldn't afford them. I'm not saying there bad, good for street and thats about it. Last December I hit a chunk of black ice and slid, when I hit the ditch they broke. On one hand it was nice cus of the possibility of rolling, but the other hand it was bad cus the front was sliding on them like ice and I had no control until it was done.
