Ok, I search and get mixed answers on this. I am about to do the classic drum to disc swap and sometimes I hear that you have to change out the bias valve, and others I hear you don't have to? I looked on BMW fans between an 85 318 and an 85 325, numbers on anything that was called a valve were the same. What would the P/N even be on this item?

To tell you the truth when I did the swap I left it alone and it calibrated itshelf.
I dont think you have to do something more.

Realoem info:
318 Master cylinder : 19,05/20,64MM
325 Master cylinder : 22,20/17,46MM
Since they don't have the same bore I think they wouldn't use
the same bias valve.
Real OEM aslo shows two different bias valves but only one is listed...
Swap the master and the bias valve?

Yikes, that sounds like trouble. I have heard of people leaving it and running fine so I will do that for now, if it becomes a problem then I will change it out.1985 M10b18. 70maybewhpoffury. Over engineered S50b30 murica BBQ swap in progress.

My car brakes just fine.Just go for the Ate slotted disks for the front.
and leave the rear disks alone.Use new pads all around and new DOT4 fluid though just to be on the safe side! E30s are light weight cars generally speaking.I dont feel the need for bigger brakes, especially since its a m10.
