Brake Caliper hone?

I will be rebuilding my brake calipers soon and have been reading up on what is involved. I have seen brake caliper hones at the parts store. It seems like if you used a caliper hone that you might need to use a slightly oversized piston. Should I use a hone? If so, any tips? Otherwise should I just clean up the piston diameter and the caliper bore by wet-sanding with 2000 grit?

If the bore in a caliper or the piston are are in need of cleaning beyond what a rag will accomplish, replace that caliper with a rebuilt unit.
