Need rear rotors, are PBR"s good enough?

Or should I opt for the Brembo's or the Balo's? I'm not even gonna bother with the cross drilled rotors from Zimmerman (overkill!)

Also, for the rear pads, are PBR's ok (read some shitty reviews on a guys Volvo who had them) or should I go for something better like the Jurid's?

    thanks in advance

P.S., is it imperative to replace the rear set screws too?

There is an ENTIRE SUBFORUM dedicated to brakes.

PLEASE POST in the correct forums. I get fairly tired of towing threads around all day because people can't be bothered to read past the first forum heading.

I wouldn't bother with x-drilled rotors not because they are overkill, but because they are gay.

Last time I checked Brembo rotors were like $100 for a full set, so I'm not sure why you wouldn't just go for those.

I run brembo blanks in the front and pbr in the rear. You can get them for cheap from Harrison motorsports.

I've use PBR ceramic's with brembo blanks on all my cars (two e30's, e36 and e39) and am satisfied with them. You'll notice a little bit more brake dust, but other than that I have nothing negative to say about them.
