    You got poly subframe/diff mounts?

How much more diff noise should I be experiencing with poly subframe and differential mounts. I'm getting some clunk in low speeds when disengaging/engaging the clutch, and some moaning/grinding at high speeds combined with high rpm(~85mph, ~5k rpm 4th gear).
Ive had the same around the same noises with two different diffs(the quality of which I knew not, before installing them). The noise did get a little less intense with the second diff but it was still there.

Is this normal with poly type mounts? Or do I need a diff?

    thanks

I went to poly subframe bushings and ruined 3 diffs before going back to regular stock subframe bushings. And change the diff its bad.

...and how exactly did poly bushings ruin your diff?

I've got 40k miles on poly diff and subframe bushings without an issue, but my diff is pretty quiet. You can feel hits to the suspension a bit more, but that's about it.

I dont want to turn this in to unfinishable argument between people who know what they are talking about and one d00d who has a squewed perception on how final drives function. . . .

I just wanted to know how much noise is normal.

been on polyurethan/solid stuff forever now. I don't even remember what stock felt like.

                  Never ruined a diff though.

Poly does translate a good bit of noise compared to stock, even on 80A, but I have no radio as well. I'm talking about subframe bushings by the way.
