    AKG subframe bushing configuration?

I need some help. I'm doing AKG TAB's, the diff bushing, and rear subframe bushings on my friends M3 while hes on vacation. Before he went out of town, he handed me a box full of goodies, but there are no instructions. Got the TAB's in, and I'm ready to put the subframe bushings in, but I can't seem to find any information on how the bushings go. Do I want the thicker lip on top or bottom? And do I want the beveled side of the insert facing up or down? Thanks for the help.

The beveled side of the insert faces up.
The car makes it possible, but the driver makes it happen.

Yep, it has a beveled to match that of the insert.

Don't forget the washer on top.

I wasn't given any washers. I spoke to someone on the phone at AKG this morning and he said on the red ones the washer is optional.

If I were you I would exercise that option. Maybe with that particular bushing you truly don't need it, but I was told by the powerflex rep that the washer was required on either of their applications (didn't come with washers). It's a positive stop for the bushing material. You can reuse the old ones or pick up new ones for a buck or two. Just my 2c, good luck.

Lol... Again "maybe" that specific bushing material is rigid enough that it won't cause you issues. However, if you've yet to drive it, it's extremely easy to just unbolt and lower each side of the sub and plop in new washers.
