Because with the BBK you need to push a larger area on the brakes and the pedal with oem master cylinder will not be hard , and will go deeper. with larger master cylinder you increase pedal stiffness and effort.
Hope someone will confrim that, becouse i have read the whole day about that :D
du you have brackets ?? i am just manufacturing them and some braded steel hoses

while this is true of some bbks, it is not the case with the rx7 calipers. piston area is nearly identical to the stock caliper. some people prefer the feel of a larger mc, but it's just a matter of personal preference. i find pedal effort too high with the 25mm mc.
So in conclusion 16x9 ET15 Borbet Type A even with a 25mm spacer will not be enough for this BBK. Ask me how I know. fuuuuuuuuuu. I suspect maybe a 5mm spacer on top of the 25mm will be enough.. maybe.
I also tried my ACT Ls wheels 15x7.5 Et15 with the spacer and it did not work either.
Gotta spend more moneys :(
