I don't know I haven't tried them without it. I had 750 MC and bias valve on the original brakes before I installed the bbk.

IminDiegoTriick: Thnx. A friend saw a similar signature picture on another forum and got inspired to make me a sig. :P

That's the exact picture I thought of when I saw your sig, even the car colors match.

I sold it one cause I didnt really need it it had been sitting. However. I upgrades my pads and rotors and switched to a larger master and the brakes work so much better.
Plus I didnt like the kit itself either the caliper seemed cheesy. Not do bag on UUC or the kid I sold them to on here.
I do not have a brake bias valve. What I do is play with pad grab. SO I run a nice hard grabby pad in front and then a harder more aggressive pad in the rear. I have changed rear brakes more than fronts. Well sorta
As mention by the SCCA/BMW instructor guy. Its all in braking technique.
People laugh as guys who drive miatas. However if you can drive a miata fast you can be fast in a much faster car.
The same thing can be applied ot your brakes. SPend some money on pads and rotors get some track time and learn. Then you can appreciate "good" brakes.
You need to practice so Jesus is your braking point. IE When your passenger says "OH JESUS" and you still make the corner you are good.

              Sig.

Why are you running grabbier front pads? What brake setup are you running that you need more front bias?

P.S. Yngvejos, that sig is fucking awesome. That shit-eating grin encompasses exactly how I see the E30 spirit. It needs more crossed eyes though.
