back side of front brakes wear out quicker. Normal?

I don't seem to get even wear on my brake pads. My outside pads still have good meat, but the inside are now digging into the rotors. I needed new rotors anyway, but why so uneven? I always clean and grease the slide pins on all my cars. I am pretty confident I did it on this car as well. Any ideas?

A caliper that is binding on the guide pins usually shows more wear on the outer pad. A sticky caliper piston can cause increased inner pad wear.
The car makes it possible, but the driver makes it happen.
