    Freaking ball joint!

    My car is in his second ball joint and bushing refresh! and it has only past a year!, no racing , nothing just DD!...my car is 88' SETA! nothing fancy, stock everything ! even botllecaps!....Has this happen to anyone?

    if you buy "cheap" aftermarket parts you'll be in for a change in less then 10k. happened to my bmw tech friend who worked for bmw and decided to go aftermarket.

    You have to go first line Lemforders (oem) in order to get your mileage out of them.

      Its the nature of the beast. Even more so cause the sway bar is most liley still hooked to them.

        The most likely cause of early ball joint failure is the use of inferior parts. Lemforder control arms are the best, with Melye arms bing the second choice. If you tell us that the replacements were Lemforder we can consider other possibilities.
        The car makes it possible, but the driver makes it happen.
