    Hawk HPS versus Hawk HP+

My entire braking system is going, so I'm looking at a little work to get it back in good order.

I'm looking at either OEM Rotors or ATE Rotors in the front and stock in the rear. I want Hawk pads, but I want to know the difference between the HPS and HP+. My driving style is many highway trips from home to school and aggressive on the backroads; I also like to hit up the mountains and the autox circuit a few times a year.

I'm leaning towards HPS. The HP+ seems to be much more of a track pad, and I don't have the funds to do any track days currently. Can anyone provide some information on the HP+ versus the HPS?

    any questions?

they are a phenominal track pad. if you aren't tracking, don't get them. a better compromise street/auto-x pad would be better.

    axxiss ultimates or mintex redbox

Ditto to that. I have Axxis on the cabby and on my IS300. Nice pad for aggressive street driving.

HPS is good for the driving style you refer to. My brother runs it on his 318is and is content, they do not make the noise/dust that the HP+ does, and they don't need any heat in them to grab, which is ideal for a street pad.

i have Hawk HPS on my 240 and its perfect for agressive street use and occassional auto-x's. I've experienced many brake setups and for the street I think these beat out the ebc gs' and the axxis'...
