They probably are branded differently in different markets where one or the other name is preferred or more well known.

FYI...The rotors are from another euro market only car just as the calipers.

Sorce the rotors and use a better mono block caliper with an adapter.

If you can get your hands on a D&W catalog, they have a VERY comprehensive list of rotors for just about every european car out there.

Can't speak for the E30, but Alpina's E21 rotors are unique to themselves.

Found out today from electrodyne/racing dynamics, who also sold a kit using 295 x 25 4-lug rotors and sold them seperately, the rotors are NLA. They were $249.00 EACH though, ouch!

                        ^
                        Thanks for the info.
This thread has already veered a little so i will ask this: My last E30 had oversize front brakes on it but the PO did it and i wondered if anyone knows the combo. 14" weaves would not fit over them and the rotors appeared to be corrado (vented with slots in the hat as well and the wheel mounting surface was thinner than e30 rotor. The caliper was a BMW caliper that fit the rotor perfectly and was bigger than e30 caliper. Any ideas?
