subframe bushings

the answer to this is obvious i think but..

think my 87 325 has original subframe and ta bushings. at rest the subframe ride "down" all the way on the subframe bolt. if i jack the car up on the subframe, the bushing goes up over a half inch. are they shot?

There is virtually no chance that an 87 doesn't need new subframe, trailing am, and differential bushings. Just do it all.

if not you'll later have to go through almost the same process and yes. the bushings shouldn't move up and down, at least I don't think. Good Luck and get the swear jar ready.

doing all...got new subframe and ta bushings, along with the "while i am in there" stuff like brake hoses and caliper rebuilt kits.
