I cant get my inner ball joint out on my driver side, I have tried jack up underneath it, it has been soaked with liquid wrench and when it turns with the ball.

Same thing happened to me.

I gave up that day, then the next day i got a torch. It finally came out.

Rip the boot off and have somebody hold the ball joint with vice grips while you turn the nut from the top.

tried that, looked at it a little more and the rust really had bonded the nut to the ball joint, I am going to borrow a dremel from someone and cut the nut off. I took a hack saw in a vain attempt to get the control arm removed cut the ball join in half with maybe an inch of it hanging down and tried to hammer it up through the hole, it didnt work, but I am going to try and remove the rest of it so I can get the new one installed. I still have not found a place locally besides the dealership to get the m3 cab's installed, BMW wants $200 to press the bushings in if you can believe that. this has become quite an experience. and the tie rod came off easy with a monkey wrench, the other side took me a whole two minutes

i just did a set of the M3 CABs last week. I also did them with the control arms still on the car. you just need alot of wheel bearing grease, and i used a small propane tourch to (WARM-not melt) the rubber, and with ALOT of brute force, on my back, they went in. not fun, but it got the job done. Also, i have had to cut that nut off before too, and then knock it out from the top--once again, not alot of fun.

If you have access to air tools, use an air impact to remove the nut on the tie rod. The impact motion will spin the nut off even if the ball joint is spinning.

I have no access toi air tool and it looks like the motor mount on the drivers side is bent so that I cant even gt a rachet on the bolt.
