    Front hub to strut

I am having difficulties getting the back part of the bearing/ hub onto the strut spindle. I have used a hammer and other sorts of things. Anyone else had problems like this before?

Every front hub I've ever changed has slid on by hand. Polishing the spindle with 400 grit crocus cloth makes the bearing easier to get on. By no means should a hammer be necessary. That would make me think that you have a hub with bearings of the wrong dimensions.
The car makes it possible, but the driver makes it happen.

x2 or put the bearing in the freezer for couple mins then slide it on the shaft.
