    Subframe bushing washers

I got my subframe off, and in the process of trying to get the bushings out i first wanted to remove the washer that was corroded onto the metal sleeve/shaft of the bushing. I bent and warped it while hitting it with a hammer. so now my question is, i should probably get new washers right? if so, are they a special kind in order to meet the proper strength requirements? i was trying to find them on realoem but the site is down right now does anyone have the part number or size? would it be a good idea to go to a local harware store and just try to match it as best i could? thanks guys

I assume you're talking about the washer that sits on top of the bushing?

Part # 33331127496 - BMW list price is currently $8.98 each.

Nothing really special about them, though I'd make sure you put SOMETHING there. Trip to a well equipped hardware store sounds like a good bet.

As an aside the Z3 washer (Part # 33311092183) is $1.13 each dealer list, not sure why that wouldn't work?

You aren't likely to find equivalent washers at even a very well equipped hardware store. With a lathe handy it wouldn't be difficult to make the washers, but getting new ones from your dealer is likely to be the easiest solution.
The car makes it possible, but the driver makes it happen.
