    Deleting ABS Pump

Hey guys. I want to delete my ABS pump since it doesn't work, and every car I've ever driven hard didn't have ABS anyway. Im only going to attend a few track events this year so its not really a worry for me as a con at the track.

Basically, what am I doing? I'm running a "T" from the line closest to the front of the car in the MC to the rear brake line, and then the passenger side brake line right? The MC line will go to the T and divide to the rear and passenger lines if I'm correct?

As far as proportioning and bias goes, how can I accomplish this? Do I have to buy a brake bias valve? I don't want to mess with my proportioning at all since I really don't know anything about it.

There are two lines out of the master cylinder. One for the front circuit and one for the rear circuit. To delete the ABS unit you need to make a new line for the rear circuit that goes directly to the bias valve. For the front circuit you'll have to run the line to a tee and then to each front brake.
The car makes it possible, but the driver makes it happen.

yep. just run lines like jim said. very simple mod.

the abs unit does not do any bias, so deleting it will not change anything from stock. don't add any valve for this. run it as is. if you get too much rear bias on track, just run a less aggressive brake pad in back than you run in front.

So theoretically, since I have a non abs car, to use that magical 25mm master I would just have to run a T off of the rear port for the front brakes. ;)

if you have stock calipers don't do the 25mm master. it is NOT an upgrade. makes the brakes very difficult to use and modulate. so much force is needed that emergency stops become dangerous. the jump from stock 20mm to 25 is huge.

          btdt. mistake.

          use a 23mm mc instead.
