    I hate brake lines

Ok I have finaly started the suspension and brakes on my car. I have been working an hour or so at night since wed. I spent most of today trying to get the rear sub frame off the fucking car, a 2 jaw puller my new impact and fire finaly got the job done.

On to the problem the last thing to do before I put the thing back togeather was the drivers side flex hose that sits above the subframe, changeing them out for SS. Well the nut on the hard line has rounded off (yes I was useing a line wrench) I have tried everything, PB, heat, PB and heat, more heat with added heat, vice scripts, channel locks and still cant get the fucking thing to brake lose. So I am at a loss because its in a fram clip in a palce where you cant put cutters, also the the nut on the same line on the distrubution block is rusted down so no wrench fits it.

I can make a new one but I got to get the old one off first any ideas??

anyone got the same hard line on a parts car that dosent have destroyed nuts?

sorry this is so long but the rant is over

Just get a new length of hard line from the dealer or a length of european hard line from Napa etc. Both cheap and better than trying to save the line.

Yea that line is easier to replace (metal one) cause it doesn't go all the way to the abs.

My front line got stripped a little. What I did was spray it with PB .. and get pari of vice and tighten in down sooo much that i couldn't clamp it by hand and i used another set of channel lock pliers to tighten down the vice grips.

Oh I got the it off, Makeing the new line is a PIA my bender wont make that tight of bends. so I think i will have to get a longer hard line after work tomarow. I couldn't make the 12" one work the 180* bend to get to the flex hose is killin me it kinked right off and I had the line full of sand too.
