I've done a fair bit of reading on this topic, but I have found very little to nothing on this topic for the e30.
This weekend I started the task of replacing/upgrading my rear subframe bushings, my trailing arm bushings, rear strut mounts and swar bar end links.
Much to my suprise, my subframe bushings were actually intact. Easy to get out, and intact are not the same. My trailing arm bushings werent too bad either - they had obviously been done by the previous owner. My sway bar links...they were the worst I have ever seen. I fingered them off with very effort.
This was my first time doing the job, and I've been taking my time. All in all, I've probably got 6 hours in it. A bit of time at Lowes/fabricating bushing puller.
So, I've come accross a question. The new powerflex bushings did not include a washer, and the OEM ones I pulled did not have washers. Am I missing something here, or is there not a washer used here?

Does a washer go between the top cup and the body of the car?
Driver and passenger sides.

Input?
