    Disabled ABS and Cluster questions.

5-Speed Swap is pretty much done. On to tackling the rest of the problems with my e30.

ABS does not work. Brake Lining and Parking break are perpetually on even if my parking break is down.

Where are my sensors for the ABS (which wheel hub is it located in)? I looked in the rear passenger caliper, and I saw a sensor completely torn from the cables! But wasn't sure if it was my ABS or my brake sensor (do e30s even have brake sensors?); could it be that that's the ABS sensor and because its torn, that what's causing my lock-ups at hard stops? I'll get pictures soon

What would cause my brake lining and parking brake lights on my cluster to stay on like that?

There is a wheel speed sensor for the ABS on each wheel.

The brake lining light could be a bad pad sensor (there are two) or a problem in the wiring/cluster. There's a pretty good change that the the parking brake light is just a bad switch on the parking brake lever, but it could a wiring fault under the console.
The car makes it possible, but the driver makes it happen.

(saw the post earlier, but I wanted to take my cluster apart and figure out the problem)

So, it's definitely not a wiring problem in my cluster.. Where is the switch for the e-brake located at..?

And the pad sensors as well?

What would cause my ABS to cease functions? If one of my cables are snapped, would it cause all the other ones to bust too?

Did you check the ABS relay? That seems to be the most likely cause.

My ABS light isn't on; I don't thin it could be my relay, but I haven't idea how to fix my ripped ABS sensor? It's completely torn off, and solder + electrical tape won't exactly hold up to time, and crimping would put my electrics in danger every time I wade in a puddle greater than 1/4" deep

Solder and heat shrink tubing can make a permanent repair.
