    are we talking about the copious amounts of rust? thats nasty! id get that out and clean up it with an drill and wire brush wheel. then refit it with a new coat of paint.

    if your talking about the subframe bushes? then its hard to tell there. usually when they are stuff they sag down and sit on the collar thing. see if there is any visible tears or cracks in the bushes if your worried. also under sudden accel or brakes there might be a clunking in the back. that would be the bushes moving. or the diff bush haha.

      i believe your talking about the space between the bushing and that bottom plate?
