Brake sensore ground??

I have this extra brown wire at the front left brake sensor. Is it a ground? and where does it suppose to go attached to???

It looks like the previous owner cut the stock brake sensor connector off and crimped a connector on it do he could ground it.

I recommend going to a junk yard and getting some newish connectors and install them. That's the redneck way of getting around the BRAKE LINING light in the gauge cluster. Personally, if you have that light on and don't wanna see it, just pull the bulb out.

That is a little strange. If you don't want to mess around with putting sensors on, and just want the light to be off you just need to crimp the two wires together.

So the op somehow created a ground for the brake sensor? I'll just pick one up at the yard and replace it. I want the light to do what it suppose to do. Just was not sure why this cable was there.

I peel off the tape of the wires and find out the the brwn wire is part of the over all sensor. So is not added to the brak sensor is part of. There are three wires 2 for the sensor and one is the brown that could be a ground.
Any ideas?
