Strange problem when pressing brake pedal

I've noticed that every now and then whenever i hit a bump...like a minor bump (during which my foot is on the brake pedal) i get this strange bubbling/scratching noise and the brake pedal kinda vibrates real quick and harden's. i do not loose any braking force however. i just f'in freak out when it does occur.

im planning on get new discs all around along with axxis ultimate's...and well bleeding the brakes, and filling it up with some ate racing brake fluid.

what do you guys think the prob is?

ABS? It could explain the pulsating of the pedal, but I doubt its activating on small bumps.

yeh everyone has been telling me its ABS...i remembered that i had chipped away at the driver side sensor a little when i was replacing my suspension. it was a minor chip..

you think that could be the source of the problem?

        any pads you'd recommend..

How fast are you going over the speed bumps?

If you are going fast enough, maybe the front wheels "hop" as they get to the top of the bump, just enough for the brakes to lock for a split second, engaging the ABS.

thats what im thinking...im not goin very fast over these bumps..not speed bumps lol, i creep over those at like .5 mph, just like random bump and potholes in the road that us New Yorkers constantly gotta fuckin deal with.

Oh, my bad. Still applies though. Even more so if they are pot holes and not rasied bumps. The time it would take the tire to fall into the hole would be more then enough time for the ABS to engage.
