    BBS RS compatible BBK?

    So it's recently become apparent the stock brakes aren't gonna cut it in emergency situations, however I'm not sure what my options are with 16x7 et25 RS003's. It looks like there's an idea that the Massive street kit could fit, but only with spacers which is not ideal.

    I'm sure somebody has a working setup for these wheels, any suggestions? Or is a small spacer the way to go? It's for a primarily street driven car.

      The IE 6 piston kit is going to be the friendliest kit you can find. Its pretty much the thinnest caliper out there.

        Unless you plan of having multiple emergency situations in a row, the stock brakes, even with the most pedestrian pads you can buy, are enough to lock up the wheels. That's all the braking you can get.

        BBKs just provide more thermal mass, so you can do multiple hard stops in a row before overheating and thus potentially facing the brakes.

        If you are worried about street driving, and you aren't canyon strafing regularly, refresh your stock setup, run some decent pads, and you'll be safe and save a pile of dough.

          I think Raxe is already well aware of this (given his line of work), I'm not sure where he asked if he should run bbk's or not?

            RS 003's will need 15mm H&R hubcentrics spacers or they wont clear ...
            Hartges 16x7.5 et25 will clear them.

            im loooking into bbs rs 34 hole rims in 5x114 configuration, add 15mm 4x100 hubcentric adaptors, this allows 16 or 17 inch bbs lips on 4 lugs.
            the question is, do 34 hole rims clear calipers?

            30 hole rims are 12.250 diameter while 34 hole ones are 13 inches. Andrew, could you confirm if e30 m3's bbk clears 34 holers ?

            Im not sure, but still have my first gen ie bbk, 310 too. basically vette brakes., lmk if interested. $ 1,000.
