Look at the turner website; they sell a kit for this. Their kit isn't the best fitting out there, but its enough for you to get the idea.

I have a kit that fits a little better than Turner's that I sell as well... if you want to at least look at them before you go cutting away. I just noticed that you're local.

This is the Work that I.E. did , didnt impress me at all .

They welded 2 small bead on the ears .

Then the welded a plate on the top .

But what they didnt do was reinfored the bottom side .
They should have welded a bead here .

This is what i did today
I cut out a piece of steel and tried to shape is as good as possible .

Then i welded the inside part of the ear .

Then weled in the corners to reinforce the ears much better .
Im sure it will be much stronger now .

Nice work, that sucker ain't breakin'.

My passenger side mount broke and is currently resting on my tie rod. I bought a used subframe and Turner's reinforcement kit, but haven't installed it yet.

Adam, I'd be curious to see how the SBI kit differs. Do you have any pictures of it by chance?

Somewhat reletively common problem on e30s that are tracked.
