Has anyone used this RX7 front brake conversion kit?

I stumbled on this pretty cool looking bracket for the stock hubs that let you run 4-piston RX7 calipers. The brackets are pretty spendy for what you get, but overall, it seems like a good deal for begin able to run those calipers.

The only problem is they don't have a solution for the rears, but I don't see that as a huge problem if you're daily driving it more than anything else.

Are there any other simple brake conversion kits like this around for E30's?

Interesting. I can see why they cost that much, though. Three separate operations, plus plating, for a very low-volume part.

That's fair, I can honestly say I know next to nothing about machining

A lot of people on this forum run them, the seller is on here too.

Next step up for bigger brakes is the UUC BBK.

Would this RX7 front brake conversion kit be sufficient for an S62 swap? I am going to be doing the swap over the winter months and trying to look at all available options for brake upgrades.

I run them, for now on stock rotors and pads, waiting for tarox and hawk hp+

I have them on my E30. I love them, but the larger master cylinder really should be installed otherwise the pedal is a little spongy. Also they are the tits with Stoptech pads in them. Perfect combo between street performance and autox. My Hawk HP+ I had before were too noisy, too suddenly grabby on the street, and covered everything in dust.

That all said, I am selling my kit minus rotors to upgrade to a Massive Brakes' kit. I have to run 20mm spacers to clear the caliper on my current rims and I'm tired of repacking wheel bearings periodically.

I bolted them onto my e30 and my wheels wouldn't fit so I sold them to a local r3v'er. The product itself is very well made. I don't think they're high priced at all. My other car has a similar style bracket to bolt my zo6 calipers onto the spindle and they were the same price. You're not going to find them much cheaper unless you make them yourself.

They are actually cheaper then they used to be. But they also used to be made of stainless.

Ya this looks like the brake upgrade I'll be looking into, I just wonder what size spacer I would need to run to fit 16x8 et12 Diamond Racing Pro Series Steelies.
