when replacing pads do you need to replace the pad sensors as well or do they unclip from the old pads and clip onto the new ones? Also, is there any difference in brake rotors/pads/calipers from a 1988-1990 model E30 325i coupe? I have an '89 and the site I like to go for for brake parts doesn't list '89 as an available model, only '88 and '90.

If the brake light warning light has not come on, you may be able to move the sensors to the new pads, but the success rate there is pretty low.
Pads and rotors are the same for all 325 cars. The car makes it possible, but the driver makes it happen.

Just replace the sensors, they are a couple dollars.
Sounds like you should look for another parts site though. Check out BMA Parts.Comment
