    Master cylinder help asap please

I'm looking for a master cylinder I found a couple at the local yards one was of a 1986 e28 with an m20 and the other is a 1986 e30. Now the one on the e28 almost looks like mine but I'm just not positive, and the one on the e30 is the same year as mine (86) but the reservoir looks smaller. My question is are any of these compatible. I'm at the yard now so help will be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Sorry for the sentence structure I'm not in the commas and points mood.

HANS situation was resolved between me and Archie so I don't see the problem especially when is back in rotation...

Call BMW, have them run the part numbers for both. Problem solved.

              No.

Just go to Realoem and look up the part #s and cross them. The site even crosses the numbers for you if you look up by part number.

Why would you ever buy a used master cylinder though? It's like buying used brake pads or used windshield wipers.
