    Bent subframe help

So never let other people drive your cars...

Anyways, my car ended up slamming into a curb and busted a wheel, when I got home I noticed my camber was way out on the drivers side. So I started tearing shit apart and it looks like the tabs where the trailing arms bolt to the subframe are bent. FFFFFFFUUUUUUUUUUUUU
Looks like its time to drop the sub frame.
But my question is, do you guys think the tabs are fixable? If I bent them back in place and welded in some reinforcements would they be alright? Or would I need to find myself a new subframe?

The tabs you bolt the trailing arms to, I had to think about that for a sec. So the car was drifting and the rear smashed into the curb. On city streets... :P

Yeh, you could bend them back, but there's a high chance that you will have alignment issues. Replacing the rear subframe is not that huge a job, I just got done replacing mine.

While you're in there you can replace:

rear brake lines (if you see ANY corosion it's a PITA to do later)
    subframe bushings
    trailing arm bushings
diff seals & bushing/swap if you want a different ratio or LSD

It took me an afternoon to take it down, sent it out to be sandblasted and painted, with new bushings pressed in, and then an hour or two to get it back in. If you were quick, my friend dropped his in an hour.

I'm in Ontario and I have a subframe for sale if you want one. It will need a sandblasting, but PM me if you're interested.

Exactly what happened. 5 people in the car, friend driving, first time in rwd car with lsd. Carnage.

Okay thats what I was looking for. I guess you just need to be too precise. I'm trying to get it finished by sunday, and I have a guy with a subframe that also needs sandblasting I'm gonna pick up today. I guess this was a good excuse to do all the bushings.
