    quick abs question

My car doesn't have the "anti-lock" symbol, yet a car fax report says that my car does, and I've also heard that all cars made since 1986 have ABS. My car is an early production 2-86, so I was wondering if maybe ABS didn't come standard till later?

does your car have an abs pump behind the driver side headlight?

Early cars don't have an ABS symbol painted in white like the other warnings, they have it backlit so you can only see it when the light is on. Do you see ABS when you first turn the key on?

        No, I've never seen it.

Also, what does that pump look like?
