Can I swap my non ix trailing arm hub into an ix trailing arm?

So after finally getting a new trailing arm to replace my previously bent one, I get it into the car and realize my calipers don't line up with my rotors. Eventually discover it was from an ix. I'm planning on attempting to swap the hub over from my old bent trailing arm onto the new ix one. Will this work? I can't think of a reason why not, I already have the hub out of the bent trailing arm but the ix one is still in the car. Anyone done this before?

    Yes, it will absolutely interchange.

All 86+ trailing arms are the same including iX and M3. The hub and brakes are what differ.

Woo thanks that's what I wanted to hear. But after I swap my hub, my non ix brakes should all line up right?

Yes... The trailing arms are the same. As long as you have your correct brackets, calipers etc you're fine.
