    540i remote brake booster HELP

I bought a remote 540i brake booster, master cylinder, and mount.
I need to know if anyone can help me with linkage issues. I didn't get the factory linkage or pedal and I can't find pictures of any setups on line so mabye you guys can help? Also should I keep the ABS or toss it?

I think Ryan Stewart has this setup i may be wrong, you could PM him or see if he replays to this. I personally would keep ABS because i wouldnt trust myself without it yet: thats just me though.

Well I am swaping in a LS1 into my red 89 325i and the stock brake booster will not fit and I want to have power brakes still so I thought this would work. I have seen it on a few E30 V8 swaps with the M60 motor.

Im not running the remote setup but Gunni is. I think what you need is the hardware to convert it to RHD style. Then the booster and all is up around the battery tray (I think that is how he described it).

Also there was a guy (Derrik maybe) on bimmerforums that was swapping in a smallblock. Havent heard from him in a while but maybe if you find him he could help you out.

My car doesnt have ABS and I dont mind it. You will need to focus more on a smooth transition into braking and threshold braking because if you become overzealous its hard to get back into the threshold once you are sliding. Ive been driving this way for 5 years now and I still lock up a rear from time to time (and I have 8" back there).
            Im now E30less.

well I finally found a 540i with the linkage still attached so I bought myself the whole assembly including pedals. Now i have an extra booster and master cylinder.

So where do you stand with this? I just got one today and was thinking of doing this also but not for a LS1 swap.
