    Subframe differences

Trying to find a spare subframe to rebuild for my 1990 325i, a friend has one he pulled from a late model 325iX and I just want to be sure it will fit. I will re-use my original trailing arms if i need to. Are there any known differences between models with regards to the rear subframe? ABS vs non ABS, rear discs vs drums etc.

I know iX wheel offsets are different and the hubs are setup differently, but are the parts swappable to convert to a rwd setup?

EDIT: apparently they are not the same, but google turns up mixed opinions on what is involved. This is not worth the effort of shimming this, cutting that etc. I will continue looking for a correct one.

Same. $100+shipping but I'm sure shipping would kill it
The first car I ever rode in was an e30

According to RealOEM the rear subframe is specific to the 325iX.

The trailing arms would work but you'd have to swap the hubs and brakes.
