You are not using e30 m3 5lug conversion. Or going to be low enough to really make use of the conversion OR going to use the car for strickly track. This conversion is for the hardcore racer that wants to squeeze the last drop from his setup. You will gain nothing on a daily. Stick with stock and put the money towards stuff you DO need(Basic maintenance) . No clue what that is, as I have not read your build.

Edit: searching your threads started tells me you have no clue what you want to do or even take the time to research and read builds. That really explains why you went ahead and made this thread..."FOR ON-TRACK RACE USE ONLY! NOT APPROVED FOR STREET USE."<---directly put in bold by AKG above the prices of the kits.

Not bashing, but it comes off as that you see a car on here being built and want to do that. Truth is you have not even started a build thread of your e30. Changing your mind from turbo to s54 to whatever. You know a proper coilover suspension setup is 1,500+? That is just inserts, shocks and coilover kit. Honestly, what do you have on it right now?

I highly suggest keeping your e30 in daily use while in school. The cost of performance is stupid expensive. s54 swap is 5k+ to do it right. Good luck, but next time research and read before making a thread that is already answered or common sense. Not a race car...no use for you.

If you're not building a car for racing, quit looking at race parts. Don't be an idiot.

There's nothing wrong with looking at parts and if I don't know something I ask a question about it. Not everyone knows everything about e30 like some people think they do.

Come on man, take the easy path, these people are telling you things that they have gone through already, be a smart guy and take advantage of the brain power and collective experience you have at your fingertips.

Also, try using the search function with specific words in the subforums, instead of just searching the whole of r3vlimited. If you are gonna ask it, at the low end, I'd say 80% of anything you ask has already been answered.

Nothing wrong with it at all, but this is not a question you asked. The AKG home page already answered it for you.

I personally have spent around 2.5-3k on my suspension alone. I look at this setup from AKG all the time, but it boils down to my car being used as a daily. All those adjustments are not easy to just set and forget like a solid arm.

I am not even sure why you want coilovers when you stated you do not desire to be all that low. Save some coin and go with Bilstein sports and some nice H&R race springs with camber plates from GC. I have built and used almost every spring and coilover combo under the sun over the last 11 years. I have never built an air setup** You can take my word that Bilstein sports and H&R race will give you the proper drop with GREAT handling.

              Do this:
              Bilstein sports
              H&R race springs

Condor speed shop E30 M3 offset CAB
Transform your E36, E30, & Z3 with our UHMW lollipop bushing for optimal camber adjustment. Enhance your BMW's handling and stability for peak performance.

OE subframe and trailing arm bushings
              Order from BluntTech

              GC camber plate

              New(if you need):
              tie rods
              control arms
              sway links

You will have around 2k or so into parts by the time you are done(or less if you buy used on here). But it is worth EVERY CENT. I do not care what anyone says: Suspension>horsepower
