    Painting rotors

Ive had my rotors on the car for a little over a half a year and the hats are rusted of course. I want to know if I can sand them a little and paint over the rust with the same shit Jordan does his with.

Use 3M scotchbrite to remove all the loose surface rust. Mast friction surface and paint with VHT Silver caliper & rotor paint.

digging up old post, thought about getting cadmium plated rotors, but they're pretty spendy.

How hard is it to paint the vents along the outer diameter?
Can you paint the wheel mating surface? (sites like this mask that part off too, not sure why, plenty of sites that spray that area)

if you paint the wheel mating surface theres a chance that paint will get on the inside of the wheel where it mounts.

seems like that could throw the wheel off balance
