I have free play in my window switches. like when I depress them they wiggle a bit, but my windows still operate correctly. that's ok right?

So free play when fully depressed, or just after they engage? If so, then bad. If not, then potentially bad.

I don't think that's what happened. Sometimes kids just don't have a good idea of how something really works. So when they picture it in their head, the picture makes no sense to anyone but themselves. They think they have a grasp on it, so when someone explains it properly it makes no sense to them. I see this happen all the time with customers. They really love it when you take the time to explain something to them and help them understand it.
