    Line replacement

Ok, so I bought a 86 325e a few weeks ago. The car was sitting for a bit. I was told a year but could have been a bit more.

So, here's my issue. My rear brake lines are rotted at both sides along with the splitter above the diff.. That same line is gunna start to go more toward the master. I got quoted 800 maybe a bit more to replace the line/s back to oem spec.. Not a ziptie job. Good or bad estimate?

Or should i just save the money and do a ziptie job myself? Im stuck here. Any advice would be really appreciated. Thanks.

Also if there are any local techs who want to make extra money to do the job.

Also what diameter line does the 325e have. Im assuming all e30 lines are the same size but just would like to know...

Was that for the steel hard lines, or just the rubber in the rear?

Left/right steel lines ready to go just gotta bend them and the T-fitting.

Replacing the hard lines and fittings is cheap w/respect to parts. Paying for the labor is where the cost is.
The car makes it possible, but the driver makes it happen.

Yeah... I know. He charges 85 an hour. Anyone have the flatrate on just the rear hardlines alone. Thanks again for any input. I'll find out on tuesday when I pick the parts up but was just wondering.
