Rebuilding parking brake.

OK my parking brake sucks. And im doing a full overhual. I know that i must change the springs and the shoes. Is theres anything else i should do?

If nothing's sticking, then that should be all you have to replace.

When you have the rotor off. get a straight edge or just eyeball it and line up the center of the hub with the adjustment dial then mark for that line on the dust cover. It will make it much easier to find the adjuster

well you will need to adjust for the new shoes, and you will probably want to do it with the rotor on, and the referance mark makes it a lot easier, at least for me, to find the adjuster through the lug hole. It will make since when you see it
