Subframe bushing stuck, the age old problem

Well here I am with what seems to be a dilemma for a reasonable amount of people at some point in their subframe removing experiences.

I've removed everything and am left with one subframe bushing sticking to the frame. It all drops without an issue except for this one corner, hung right up on where it's been for 20 odd years.

I've heard of people using a screw and a punch to knock them out or using a blow torch to soften it up.

What are my safest options to progress with? This car needs to get back on the road ASAP.

Thank you for the help in advance.

I've had luck with taking a good reciprocating saw, cutting the center out, cutting through the bushing and metal sleeve around the bushing until it seems close to the subframe, then using a big hammer and a chisel to bend the sleeve of the bushing till it'll pop out.

Sketchiest part is cutting the sleeve but it's pretty easy to see what metal you're cutting through.

Spray down well with PBlaster or Kroil and allow that penetrate day. Then tap the interior of the bushing, thread in a bolt and use a long thin drift from above to drive the bushing out. If the car is on a lift you can use a heavy slide hammer from the bottom.

If you haven't already, you will want to drive the bushing bolts up and out of the bushings. That makes it a lot easier to re-mount the subframe.
The car makes it possible, but the driver makes it happen.
