    Front Subframe Question

Please help, I have a late model 1991 318is. Recently while driving I have been feeling vibrations and while looking ontop of the engine bay I noticed that on my passenger side where the motor mount is on the subframe, was welded because it seemed to have cracked. The cracks are starting again and I am going to replace the subframe, the question is does early, late, 318 or 325 have different subframes? Or which do I need? Any help is appreciated thank you.

Check realoem.com to compare part numbers. As for the cracking, I would get a reinforcement plate from AKG, Turner, or any other place and have them welded in to prevent this in the future.

The early 318i (m10) cars have a mildly different subframe, but IIRC, all others are the same.
