    Damaged FCAB Lollipop bolt hole

    Hey guys,

I ran into some troubles while replacing some suspension parts. One of the lollipop bolt broke off, then extractor broke, failed drilling it out and the bolt hole piece is loose now. Anyone ran into this problem before? What steps can I take to fix this problem?

Here is a stock image of the fcab bolt

probably only thing you can do is drill the hole out a little bigger and tap a new (larger) thread.

I thought about that, but I dont know if its possible since the lollipop has a certain size.

Make the hole in the mount larger too, it has a lot of plate steel. Only problem I could think of is if there is enough metal on the underside of the rail to take the hole out larger. I can't remember if it was a nut or a plate on the inside.

This was what I was thinking about, but didn't know if it existed or knew the name of it.

I probably wouldn't trust it on a piece of suspension.
