    brake drag/parking brake/wheel bearing?

I'm having a brake squeal exactly like a brake wear indicator tab squeal, the ones built into brake pads to tell u it's time to change pads. It's coming from the rear brakes on 40mph or slower stops. I've taken apart the pads, they are more than 75%, greased all the brake parts and still have annoying squeal. I didn't rebuild the pistons, didn't go that far.

I don't have any wear issues, don't have any vibrations leading to wheel bearings. Their is no play in the back wheels as well. The only thing I can think of is something to do with the parking brake dragging? Should I take off the rotors and inspect the parking brake? Anyone have a similar issue, any insights or suggestions if it is the parking brake?

I had the same thing happen, ended up being the wheel bearing, it progressively got worse

when I was driving at highway speed I couldn't hear it but in traffic it was obvious, all of a sudden it just started squealing really loud

To tell if the noise is from the calipers or something else, lightly apply the brakes when squeal occurs. If it goes away, the brake pads are dragging.
The car makes it possible, but the driver makes it happen.

It squeals under braking. When I let off the pedal it stops. Only occasionally it will squeal for alittle after I let off the brake pedal.

Do you put anti-squeal paste or grease on the back of the pads? Often times the "squeal" you here is actually the brake pad vibrating at high frequency against the piston. Greasing them stops this.

Yes, I greased everything when I took them apart. I initially thought this was my problem
